RPI hires Federal Reserve economist

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy announced this afternoon that it has hired Arturo Estrella, a Federal Reserve Bank of New York economist, to head its economics department. RPI called Estrella “an internationally renowned economist” and said he will steer the department in a new direction, building interdisciplinary links between the department and other programs. Today, the FAS Team updates their website with an overview on progress, some screenshots, and the inclusion of new team members. We recently tapped long-time community activist TheUltra4sshole (aka "U4") to serve as both our Public Relations director and military advisor. We also brought on board the supremely talented weapons modeler Schmung.
